Bainite

Bainite is a specific microstructure that forms in steel at temperatures between those that produce Pearlite and Martensite. It offers an excellent combination of high strength and ductility. For high-performance solar torque tubes, achieving a Bainitic structure can provide superior fatigue resistance and better elongation properties compared to traditional ferrite-pearlite steels.
