Inline UV Coating

Written by Superior Technologies | 2026.02.06

Inline UV coating is a modern, high-speed method of applying a clear protective layer to pipes immediately after they are manufactured.

The Process: A liquid coating is sprayed onto the moving pipe and then instantly cured (hardened) by passing under intense Ultraviolet (UV) lamps.

Advantage: Unlike traditional varnishes that take minutes to dry and emit harmful fumes, UV coating cures in a fraction of a second. This allows pipes to be bundled and shipped immediately, boosting production speed.
