CDW stands for Cold Drawn Welded tubes.
CDW as a precision-enhancing secondary process. It begins with an ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) tube, which is then pulled through a die and over a mandrel at room temperature. This "cold drawing" process induces strain hardening, which significantly improves the material's yield strength and dimensional tolerances. More importantly, it reduces the visibility of the weld seam, creating a near-seamless finish with superior surface integrity.
